1. INTRODUCTION

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of Catepilla.com, including its website, mobile applications, therapy programs, and volunteer initiatives. By accessing or using any services offered by Catepilla.com, you agree to comply with these terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should discontinue use of the platform immediately.

2. SERVICE SCOPE

2.1 Butterfly Program

This service offers virtual consultations with certified professionals to provide therapy guidance and support. It is not a substitute for a formal medical diagnosis, and Catepilla.com does not assume responsibility for medical conditions requiring licensed healthcare intervention.

2.2 Hope Program

This program provides home-based therapy services. Before therapy sessions commence, a preliminary safety assessment is conducted to ensure a secure environment. Failure to meet safety criteria may result in denial or termination of service.

3. USER RESPONSIBILITIES

3.1 Accurate Information

Users must provide accurate and up-to-date information during registration, therapy sessions, and interactions with the platform. Any misrepresentation may result in service suspension or termination.

3.2 Compliance with Laws

Users must comply with all applicable laws, including but not limited to data protection regulations, intellectual property laws, and professional conduct standards.

3.3 Confidentiality

Users must respect the privacy and confidentiality of therapy sessions, including refraining from unauthorized sharing of therapy-related materials or discussions.

4. PROHIBITED CONDUCT

4.1 Unauthorized Recording and Distribution

Screen recording, live streaming, or sharing of therapy sessions without prior consent is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.

4.2 Unauthorized Reselling of Materials

Therapy resources, materials, and guides provided by Catepilla.com are copyrighted and may not be reproduced, shared, or resold without explicit permission.

4.3 Impersonation of Therapists or Professionals

Users are prohibited from falsely representing themselves as therapists or professionals. Any violation of this provision may be punishable under IPC Section 419.

4.4 Misuse of Platform Resources

The platform must not be used for fraudulent, unlawful, or unethical purposes, including harassment, abuse, or any activity that disrupts service operations.

5. ACCOUNT TERMINATION

5.1 Chargeback Abuse

Repeated fraudulent chargebacks or disputes may result in permanent service suspension.

5.2 Harassment of Staff or Therapists

Any form of verbal, written, or physical abuse towards Catepilla.com staff, therapists, or support teams will lead to immediate termination of service access.

5.3 Data Scraping or Unauthorized Data Collection

Extracting data from the platform using automated scripts, bots, or any other unauthorized means is strictly prohibited and may lead to legal action.

6. VOLUNTEER POLICY

6.1 Eligibility Criteria

  • Volunteers must be at least 21 years old, except for approved student internship programs.
  • A valid police clearance certificate is required.
  • Volunteers must sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before participation.

6.2 Code of Conduct

  • Volunteers must not engage in private contact with clients outside official Catepilla.com channels.
  • Safety concerns must be reported immediately.
  • All content created by volunteers during their tenure becomes the property of Catepilla.com.

6.3 Termination of Volunteer Engagement

Catepilla.com reserves the right to terminate volunteers for breaches of confidentiality, misconduct, or policy violations. Volunteers who wish to resign must provide two weeks’ notice.

7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Catepilla.com aims to provide effective therapy interventions but does not guarantee specific outcomes.

8. PAYMENT & DONATION TERMS

8.1 Fee Structure

  • All payments are non-refundable except where required by law.
  • Subscription auto-renewals require a 7-day advance cancellation.

9. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

9.1 Escalation Pathway

  • Written complaint to Grievance Officer.
  • Mediation via Chennai Mediation Centre.
  • Binding arbitration if unresolved.

10. POLICY ADMINISTRATION

10.1 Version Control

  • Archived versions available at /legal/archive.
  • Material changes notified via email 30 days in advance.
